IMMO Foundation

From 2019, we started a new activity of our foundation, we decided to take care of a valuable and important element of urban infrastructure - greenery. By planting trees, we want to reduce the effects of climate change and reduce air pollution. Vegetation in urban space has many positive aspects: from preventing extreme weather phenomena, by reducing temperature fluctuations, regulating humidity and purifying air to absorb carbon dioxide and produce life-giving oxygen. Let's use it!

Together with the employees of the Grupa Kapitałowa Immobile, on the occasion of World Tree Day, we planted 3 Common Maples 'Globosum' and three clone-leaf trees in the parking lot of the Faktoria Shopping Center. At the end of November, together with the CDI company, we organized tree planting in Fordon, where a new housing investment (Osiedle Uniwersyteckie) was enriched by 10 young common rowan. In 2020, we are planning further plantings of trees, we are counting on the involvement of the inhabitants of our city in co-creating green space.

The competition was conducted for extremely talented residents of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. As a company strongly associated with our region, we know the importance of supporting young talent. The next generations will shape the reality that surrounds us. It is worth helping those who, not only thanks to their talent, but above all hard work, consistency and many sacrifices reach where only few could. The first edition of the Rumaki competition took place in 2012. In the competition we awarded in three categories - science, culture and art. Three winners in three editions of the competition received financial prize of 10,000 zlotys.

The action "Guatemala"

In the second half of 2013, the RUMAK Foundation has been working with the Medici Homini Foundation, consisting of doctors wanting to help people living in the poorest regions of the world.

RUMAK provided financial support to run their project "Specialists for Guatemala" with the aim to provide medical assistance to the families of the miners. In a place where hospitals or medical care is not available, any medical assistance is priceless. Team of doctors focused mainly on medical care for women from mining families. There worked four physicians: two gynecologist, physician specialised in anesthesia and a physiotherapist. In addition to our financial support, we also decided to support the children living in these areas by providing them school supplies.
